wat an interesting countdown last night. in a hall with mostly old folks, some young kids and our MP =D
‘there are people who want to have a countdown event but will not travel so far to marina bay. that’s why we need people to organize such events in our very own neighbourhood,’ she said. true true so am i invited to organize the next one? thats wat i was asking in my mind. but i guess the answer’s probably no for me, but yes to our ‘doctor friend’. he’s studying medicine. ok this is a bit exaggerated and sounds kinda bitchy and jealous but i made my point.
but either way it’s quite cool the 2 of us were introduced to all the big shots at the community centre. lots of handshaking and formal greetings. was thinking like wat…. im just an nsf. but now i think of it i realized we were probably the only 2 youngsters there that could do something. and the fact that we’re there showing our willingness.
why this happened was my childcare teacher. she’s so involved with community stuff. and she’s so hoping one of us wud go to parliament. LOL.
